Welcome to the NEW Standard in Field Training Officer Certification! This 40-hour Academy develops the knowledge, skills, and structure necessary to excel as a Field Training Officer and make a positive impact in a recruit’s new career. We will explore adult learning principles, communication strategies, decision-making, documentation, and core components of the Field Training Model. Students will learn how to coach, correct, and support recruits while maintaining accountability and facilitating a learning environment supported with professionalism and respect.
